Calisto Backstage is a global freelance network for customer service and outbound sales work. Tasks are pushed to you based on your certifications, language skills, and availability — similar to how Uber assigns rides.
Apply online (5–10 minutes), complete a language assessment, finish video certification training (2–4 hours), and get approved within 24–48 hours. Once approved, tap “Go On-Call” to start receiving tasks.
Customer service agents earn per ticket resolved. Outbound sales agents earn per new client wallet created (performance-only). All amounts are converted to your local currency at payout. Use our earnings calculator for specific estimates.
Payouts run bi-weekly via Wise. Your earnings are converted at the Wise mid-market rate on the payout date. Minimum payout thresholds vary by market.
We support 11 local currencies: USD, PHP, EUR, BRL, NGN, KES, GHS, CLP, ARS, MAD, and COP. You can also choose to receive payouts in USD or EUR regardless of your country.
There are 4 tiers that affect your pay multiplier. Probation (0.80×) for your first 5 tasks, Standard (1.0×) after 5 tasks with quality 3.0+, Senior (1.15×) after 25 tasks with quality 4.0+ and 15%+ conversion rate, and Lead (1.25×) by manual promotion.
Earn a referral bonus for each freelancer you refer who completes 15 tasks within their first 45 days. Share your referral link via WhatsApp or any other channel.
If you help bring 1,500 or more new clients to Calisto Pro before the milestone deadline, you earn a 50% bonus on all your earnings (subject to a cap), paid the following month.
Start with the general training certification. Then complete vertical-specific certifications (17 verticals available) to unlock tasks in those verticals. Each certification earns a completion bonus after qualifying tasks in that vertical.
Yes. Calisto Backstage is available in 180+ countries. We support 7 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, and Arabic. Tasks are assigned based on timezone matching.
Sales leads are assigned one at a time, up to 10 active leads per vertical. You have 7 days and 3 required outreach attempts per lead. You can report a lead as “not interested” or “bad contact” to remove it from your queue.
We verify outreach attempts. If you report “not interested” or “bad contact” but the contact information is valid and you did not actually reach out, an earnings deduction is applied.
